Nancy Brodzki, Esq. is the founding partner in the law firm of Brodzki Jacobs & Associates P.L., in Coral Springs, FL. Her practice is focused on complex family law litigation, collaborative family law, family mediation, LGBT family law, adoption and surrogacy, and she serves as a certified Guardian Ad Litem for children in family cases. She has been particularly active in the legal battle for marriage equality and LGBT rights. She filed the first challenge to the State ban on same sex marriage in September 2013 and obtained the first same-sex divorce as a result of that successful constitutional challenge on December 17, 2014. She filed the first post-Obergefell state court challenge in September 2015 to the birth certificate statute that permits only the husband of the birth mother to be listed and excludes the wife of the birth mother.

Brodzki is a graduate of Newcomb College of Tulane University and the University Of Miami School Of Law, cum laude. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1986, is Board Certified in Marital & Family Law and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator. She is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Collaborative Family Law Professionals of South Florida where she serves as President, the Florida Association of LGBT Lawyers and Allies where she serves on the Board, the Broward County Matrimonial Lawyers Association, the Gay & Lesbian Lawyers Network, the Broward County Bar Association, and she is active on several committees of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar.
